How would I add someone to my rental to drive if they are an AAA Member?
If you and the other person are both AAA members, your CDP or Club Code for AAA must appear on the rental. You will need to sign the additional driver form at a Cali2Way2 location, but there will not be any charge for this (valid at participating locations in the U.S and Canada). For more information about Additional Driver requirements go to “Reservations” section. Select “Qualifications & Requirements,” select your destination or enter in the appropriate airport location/code, and then click on, “Authorized and Additional Authorized Operators”.
I forgot to add my Gold Plus Rewards membership number to my reservation; is it too late to add my number?
To add your Gold Plus Rewards membership number to your booking, the reservation must be canceled and re-booked. To do so, pull up your reservation by clicking on “Rent a Car”, then “View/Modify/Cancel a reservation”.  Input your Confirmation number and Last Name, then cancel the reservation.  Next step is login to your Gold Plus Rewards account and re-book your reservation.
How do add someone to my contract to drive the car?
The renter and whoever wants to be added on to drive, will need to go to any Hertz location and sign an additional driver form. For information regarding specific locations check out our website, select your destination, or enter in the appropriate airport location/code, and select “Qualifications & Requirements” and choose “Authorized and Additional Authorized Operators” from the drop-down.
What if my spouse or domestic partner is not a Cali2Way2 Gold Plus Rewards® member?
Your spouse/domestic partner should sign up for a Cali2Way2 Gold Plus Rewards® membership via cali2way2.com. Once he or she completes the application, you must wait 48 hours before calling the Awards Desk to transfer points. Please note we are unable to transfer points within the 48-hour processing window.
How would I add an additional driver if I am a Gold Plus Rewards Member?
If the person to be added on is your spouse, domestic partner or coworker, they are considered authorized operators and can operate the Cali2way car without being added on. However, if they are not your spouse, domestic partner or coworker, you and the additional driver will need to go to any Cali2Way2 location to sign an Additional Authorized Operator (AAO) form to legally operate the Car.  There is an additional fee for each Additional Authorized Operator (AAO).
