Is there a cancellation fee for a prepaid booking (Non U.S.)?
For European reservations, there is no cancellation fee for USA and Canadian residents on prepaid bookings picked up outside their country of residence. For Cali2Way2 Prepaid Australian Reservations there is no cancellation fee.
What are Mobile Gold Alerts?
Mobile Gold Alerts are phone-friendly email alerts sent to a Gold Plus Rewards member’s phone to let you know which car you will be driving and where it is parked the minute it is ready. *Mobile Gold Alerts are currently available at select USA locations. To sign up for Mobile Gold alerts, go to cali2way2.com, log on, and go to the Personal and contact details section of your Cali2Way2 Gold Plus Rewards profile and opt in.  Email alerts will be sent to the email address on your profile. What happens on the day of rental? As soon as the car is ready, we will send you a Mobile Gold Alert by email.  The message will include the car we have chosen for you and the plate number.  At large U.S. airports, we will also tell you the stall number it is parked in, so you can go straight to your car and get on your way.  At other cali2way2 locations you need to pick up the keys and contract from a cali2way2 representative. What if I want a different car?  We want you to have the best rental experience always.  So if you would like a different car, you have two choices:  1. Go to the Gold Choice (where available) area and, if you have booked at least a midsize, you can pick from any of the available models or upgrade to one of the specialty cars.  2.  Ask a Cali2Way2 representative at the Gold VIP booth about available special offers. What if we make changes?  If you are late or we need to change your car, we will send  you a message to let you know your new car.  Or we will send you a message just asking you to come straight to the Gold VIP booth when you arrive and then we will get you on your way. What if I don’t need the car anymore?  Just go to cali2way2.com to cancel the reservation.  A link to Cali2Way2.com will also be included in the Mobile Gold email Alerts.  We appreciate you letting us know. What happens if I don’t receive my Mobile Gold Alert?  First, check the Cali2Way2 Gold board on arrival or step over to the Gold VIP booth.  Also check that the email address in your profile is up to date.
I am trying to reserve a car but it tells me to call the reservation center to book the car I want. Why is this and what do I do?

How can I find the terms and conditions for my prepaid rental?
Prepaid Terms and conditions are noted on your cali2way2.com reservation confirmation. Additionally, for the US prepaid program, the terms and conditions are noted below – more details can also be found on the Products & Services page for Pay Now and Save! Program Terms and Conditions Changes/Modifications to “Pay Now” rentals are subject to the terms and conditions below. Discount will vary depending on location, length and date of rental; discount will not apply in all cases. No refunds or credits for unused rental days. Prepaid rates cannot be combined with any promotional offer, voucher or certificate. Rates exclude vehicle licensing recovery fee, airport facility use fee/customer facility charge, hotel concession fees, other cost recovery fees, governmental surcharges, taxes or other optional items such as child seats, luggage racks, refueling items, insurance, GPS (where applicable) or optional refueling, or one-way charges for which the renter may be responsible. Excluded services cannot be prepaid; if accepted, must be paid locally at time of rental. Changes to a reservation must be done at Cali2Way2.com using the “Modify/Cancel” option. Any changes to the reservation may impact the rental charges. To provide you with increased flexibility, customers with pre-paid rentals booked prior to March 13th can cancel their reservation for no fee and transfer their balance for use toward a future booking to be used within 24 months. Approximate rental charges are based on available information at the time of reservation for renters age 25 and older. For minimum age requirements please see “Rental Qualifications and Requirements” link below for details. Please note that for renters under age 25 an additional daily age differential charge is waived. Additional fees or surcharges may be applied at time of rental. The customer will be asked to enter a valid credit card number at the end of a change to a prepaid reservation. This must be the same credit card that was used for the original reservation. If the customer wishes to change the credit card, then the original reservation must be cancelled (see terms and conditions for Cancellations) and a new reservation made. Debit cards and Cali2Way2 Credit Cards are not valid forms of payment for prepaid rates. When renting the vehicle at the counter, you must produce the same credit card with which you paid online and a valid driver’s license. The credit card used must be in your name and presented at the time of rental. Once proof of this card has been provided, Cali2Way2 can accept any other valid credit card in your name at the time of rental for taxes, fees and incidentals. Standard rental qualifications and rental period restrictions apply. CDP: A CDP code can be added to a reservation. However, there may be circumstances in which this CDP code is linked to a negotiated discount or rate that does not match Cali2Way2 retail prepaid rates. In this circumstance, the customer will see the error message: ‘No prepaid available’. The customer may cancel the original reservation (see terms and conditions for Cancellations) and make a new reservation adding the CDP number. A valid drivers license and credit card must be presented at the time of rental to cover any reasonably anticipated charges which have not been included in the prepaid voucher. All rentals are subject to Cali2Way2 standard terms and conditions of the Cali2Way2 Rental Agreement in effect at the time and place of rental. Rental days are based on 24 hour periods commencing at time of pickup. Additional days will apply if the rental is kept longer than specified (additional days begin after a 29 minute grace period and will be billed at a higher rate). This program is available at participating cities/locations and blackouts may apply. Voluntary upgrades will be charged at locally applicable rates. Please print your prepay confirmation and present at the counter. The JCB card is a valid form of payment for prepaid rates. Prepaid rates are subject to availability. LIS cannot be provided for rentals in excess of 30 days in certain states, including CA, NY, FL, TX, NC and RI. Please note that due to the nature of the prepaid rates, Cali2Way2 cannot provide a single receipt for a prepaid rental.  Two receipts will be provided – one receipt for the prepaid amount and one receipt for the remainder of charges payable at the counter. Your Cali2Way2 Prepaid Rental will appear on your credit card statement as “Cali2Way2 PREPAYMENT”.
