- The Gaslamp Quarter in downtown San Diego has many parking lots. Some of the biggest include 6th and K Parkade (289 Sixth Avenue), Park It On Market (614 Market Street) and Gaslamp City Square (421 Fourth Avenue). Rates vary between lots and time.
- Metered street parking can be found throughout downtown and wider San Diego. Coins, credit cards and Apple Pay are all accepted.
- The San Diego Convention Center has an underground garage for 1,950 vehicles. The entrance is on Harbor Drive – payment is on entry. Alternatively, there is a parking lot opposite the center.

How To Get From San Diego International Airport To San Diego Convention Center
The Convention Center’s address is: 111 W Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.
To get to the Convention Center from San Diego airport:
- Leave the airport’s rental car parking lot, turning left on to Admiral Boland Way, staying in the central lane to join Sassafras Street.
- After around 200 yards, turn right on to Kettner Boulevard.
- Take the slip road onto I-5.
- Take Exit 17 on to Front St and head south for one mile.
- Turn left on to Harbor Drive, following signs for the Convention Center. The parking lot is under the building.

Main routes in San Diego
San Diego is served by three Interstate highways:
- Interstate 5 (I-5) runs from the US-Mexico border to Los Angeles.
- After around 200 yards, turn right on to Kettner Boulevard.
- Interstate 8 (I-8) starts on Ocean Beach, stretching east through the city and ends in Arizona.
- Interstate 15 (I-16) runs from Mission Valley to Las Vegas.
A number of California State Routes connect the different parts of town to wider California.

Interstate 5 takes you from San Diego to Los Angeles in about two and a half hours – it may be more with traffic. Take the Pacific Coast Highway for a more scenic route.
